Duties
Provide high-quality general dentistry services including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions
Perform advanced procedures such as root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, dental records, and imaging results to develop effective treatment plans
Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment tracking
Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations
Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term wellness
Collaborate seamlessly with team members in four-handed dentistry setups to optimize efficiency and patient comfort
Experience
Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic environment with familiarity in pediatric dentistry and general practice procedures
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health assessments
Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other restorative procedures
Proficiency in using dental imaging technology and understanding of infection control standards within clinical settings
Demonstrated ability to document medical records accurately while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Prior experience with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to pediatric patients when necessary
