We are looking for a motivated team player to join us as a Dental Hygiene Assistant Position Overview: This role is essential in supporting our clinical team and creating a positive patient experience. The right candidate will be adaptable, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Seat patients and prepare them for dental exams and hygiene appointments Assist hygienists and doctors with exams and charting as needed Take diagnostic dental radiographs (x-rays) Clean, disinfect, and reset treatment rooms between patients Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols Support the team with additional clinical and sterilization tasks as assigned Qualifications: Previous dental knowledge preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety/sterilization protocols Friendly, professional, and welcoming personality Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed What We Offer: A supportive team environment with opportunities to learn and grow Competitive pay based on experience Full-time schedule in a modern, patient-centered practice Excellent benefits including paid time off, health insurance and 401(k) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Uniform allowance Experience: patient care/dental: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Houghton Lake, MI 48629 (Required) Work Location: In person
