Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and will be proficient in various dental procedures. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their dental experience. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality dental services in a supportive environment. Duties Rotating schedule requires travel between two locations (South Hadley, MA and Granby, CT). This is non-negotiable and subject to change with prior notice. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Perform a range of dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and root canal therapy. Execute dental extractions and other surgical procedures while adhering to aseptic techniques. Utilize medical imaging technologies for accurate diagnostics and treatment planning. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance patient care efficiency. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care measures. Skills Proficient in Eaglesoft Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care. Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry for effective treatment planning. Experience in pediatric dentistry, demonstrating the ability to manage young patients effectively. Familiarity with medical documentation processes and maintaining accurate medical records. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing high-quality patient care. Prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
