Dental Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help to ensure patients receive quality care. Knowing Haitian creole is a big plus! Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize dental instruments and tools - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental x-rays - Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies - Maintain accurate patient records Experience: - Proficiency in aseptic technique - Knowledge of CAD software is a plus - Familiarity with medical documentation and HIPAA regulations - Experience in assisting with dental procedures - Understanding of medical terminology - Ability to take vital signs accurately - Knowledge of medical imaging techniques - Familiarity with medical coding practices - Proficiency in Eaglesoft software Joining our team as a Dental Assistant offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that promotes professional growth and development.
