Job Summary
The Dental Assistant supports the dentist during procedures, prepares treatment rooms, ensures patient comfort, and helps maintain efficient clinical operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments
Take digital x-rays, 3D imaging (CBCT) and digital scanner (Itero)
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
Record patient medical histories and update charts
Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Ensure the office and clinical areas remain clean and organized
Qualifications
Dental Assistant certification or relevant training preferred
Radiology certification
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills for patient records and scheduling

Schedule
Monday – Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Every other Friday/Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Saturday is on an as needed basis only for coverage)
