Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Lakeview Family Dental! Lakeview Family Dental is a solo-doctor private practice located in Suite 430 of Lakeview Medical Park in West Des Moines. Our team consists of one dentist/owner, one front desk/billing coordinator, one dental assistant, and four hygienists. We are a close-knit team that values a positive work environment and high-quality, compassionate patient care. Compensation: $38–43/hour depending on experience and qualifications Schedule: We are flexible and open to discussing different arrangements, though ideally we are looking for coverage on Mondays and Friday mornings. We also utilize modern technology including intraoral scanning. Responsibilities include: Adult and pediatric prophylaxisScaling and root planingReviewing medical histories, medications, and medical conditionsEducating patients on oral hygiene and periodontal healthTaking dental radiographs including bitewings, periapicals, and panoramic imagesTaking intraoral photographsUpdating treatment plans, charting conditions, and documenting completed treatment in DentrixFollowing OSHA, HIPAA, sterilization, and infection control protocols Qualifications: Current RDH licenseExperience in dental hygiene preferredComfortable treating pediatric patientsFamiliarity with Dentrix preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsTeam-oriented attitude with a caring and professional approach to patient care
