Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients across all age groups, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and specialized procedures will contribute to creating a positive and comfortable experience for every patient. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care Assess patient needs through thorough examinations, medical and dental history reviews, and accurate diagnosis utilizing medical imaging and dental terminology Develop personalized treatment plans that align with patient goals while explaining procedures clearly to ensure informed consent Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems Follow strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry for efficient workflow and enhanced patient comfort Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness Requirements Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery Familiarity with dental software including Dentrix Ascend or equivalent electronic health record systems Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical imaging techniques Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal treatments, dental fabrication procedures, and other complex restorative services confidently Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and communicate effectively Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for safeguarding patient information and maintaining confidentiality Experience working in a busy dental office environment with a focus on high-quality patient outcomes Commitment to continuous learning about new techniques in endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and infection prevention Join us in delivering exceptional dental care while advancing your professional skills in a supportive environment that values your expertise.
