Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Front Desk Receptionist and Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. Must be bilingual (English & Spanish) fluent. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing appointment scheduling, patient intake, and administrative support. You will coordinate treatment plans, verify insurance information, and ensure seamless communication between patients and clinical staff. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in processManage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriatelySchedule appointments accurately using EMR system Open Dental.Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processesAssist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical history and updating medical records in EMR systems like eClinicalWorks or DentrixReview documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical billing standardsCoordinate treatment plans with clinicians, including explaining procedures and preparing patients for their visitsMaintain organized medical records and files, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to health information management standardsSupport billing processes by understanding CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, and Medicare requirementsProvide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally while demonstrating thorough knowledge of dental/medical terminologySkills Strong experience with EMR/EHR system Open Dental & Eagle SoftProficiency in medical coding including CPT codes, ICD-10/ICD-9 codes, and medical billing proceduresExcellent computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and office management software like Eaglesoft or DentrixKnowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all timesBilingual abilities are highly valued to effectively communicate with diverse patient populationsPrevious clinic or dental office experience is preferred to understand workflow and terminologyExceptional customer service skills combined with strong phone etiquette and clerical support experienceAbility to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailJoin our team where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
