Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, with precision and care. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring adherence to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques. Take dental X-rays and panoramic images when applicable, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. Manage patient records efficiently in systems such as Dentrix Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing dental documentation with attention to detail. Experience Prior experience in a dental clinic is preferred, especially in general dentistry settings. Proficiency in dental assisting procedures including chairside assisting, X-ray taking, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
