Dental Assistant II, Hospital Dentistry Clinic at Wilmington

The Dental Assistant II provides clinical, radiographic, laboratory and administrative support for hospital-based dentistry and oral surgery services at ChristianaCare’s Wilmington clinic, serving patients of all ages. This full-time, hourly position (pay range $21.03–$31.54/hr) assists chairside, prepares and sterilizes instruments, performs dental imaging and impressions, and manages scheduling and records to ensure efficient, high-quality care. The role supports dental residents and faculty in a safety-focused, community-oriented hospital dentistry program. Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited dental assistant program, certified for dental radiology in Delaware, hold current BLS, and have relevant clinical experience. Strong infection-control practice, four-handed dentistry skills, and effective patient communication are essential.
