In this vital role, you will support dentists during procedures, manage patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of our dental practice. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional dental services across a wide range of specialties including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Duties Assist dentists during various procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and passing tools efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to strict infection control and aseptic techniques Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Open Dental, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform vital signs assessments and medical imaging to support comprehensive patient care Support the dental reception team by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and managing patient flow Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control protocols and anatomy knowledge to prevent cross-contamination Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices using clear dental terminology Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic setting with familiarity in general dentistry procedures Knowledge of dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, X-ray processing, and infection control practices Understanding of medical terminology, medical coding, and medical records management for comprehensive patient documentation Experience supporting pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is highly desirable Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and proficiency in aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Join us in delivering top-tier dental care through teamwork, technical excellence, and compassionate service.
