Registered Dental Hygienist

Who We Are At The Drs. Tamashiro, we function as a small, but efficient, family-owned general dentistry practice. We dedicate ourselves to serve Maui's families with personalized, professional, and compassionate dental care. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday with patient care hours from 8:00AM-5:00PM. Overview We are searching for a Registered Dental Hygienist to add to our dental team on a part time basis with the opportunity to transition to full time. We are looking for someone who is a team player, effective communicator, and strives to provide high quality, patient-centered care and education. Our ideal candidate will be a Registered Dental Hygienist currently licensed in the State of Hawai'i with strong references. Requirements Valid State of Hawai'i Registered Dental Hygienist license with local anesthesia certification. Ability to work collaboratively within a team, with a professional and positive attitude. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Commitment to continuous learning with a growth-mindset. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Key Responsibilities Perform high quality preventative dental hygiene treatment and patient education. Conduct clear radiographic imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Implement infection control measures in accordance with established protocols. Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on assessment findings. Review and complete patient records accurately. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and improve clinic systems. Contribute to a positive, professional, and welcoming practice environment.
