Dental Assistant

Mid America Health is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join its Kentucky team, working between the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex in West Liberty and the Little Sandy Correctional Complex in Sandy Hook. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a typical split of two days at one facility and three at the other. Responsibilities include routine chairside support for preventive, restorative, extraction and prosthodontic care, plus significant administrative tasks; complex specialties like ortho, crown & bridge, and endo are not required. Candidates should have at least one year of experience and completion of an accredited dental assisting program is preferred; KY X-ray certification and CPR for Health Care Providers are required. Compensation ranges from $40,000–$42,000 annually, and the role includes health insurance options, paid time off, and paid holidays.
