Dental Assistant

London Women's Care in London, KY is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support comprehensive family-focused services, including primary care and dentistry. The hourly position provides chairside support under dentist supervision, prepares treatment areas and materials, takes radiographs, assists with impressions and lab tasks, and maintains infection control and supply inventory. Certified assistants may perform expanded duties such as polishing, fluoride/varnish application, sealants, suture removal, and orthodontic banding. The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), CPR certification, and either one year of dental assisting experience or formal certification; X-ray certification is preferred. Strong patient communication, adherence to OSHA/CDC/ADA and HIPAA standards, dependability, and a commitment to continuing education and quality care are essential.
