Position Summary
The Front Office Receptionist & Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient scheduling, insurance verification, claims processing, and providing outstanding customer service. This position plays a key role in creating a positive experience for our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients with a professional and friendly attitude
Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
Submit and follow up on insurance claims and pre-authorizations
Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients
Collect payments and maintain accurate patient accounts
Confirm appointments and manage recall schedules
Update and maintain patient records
Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow
Perform additional front office duties as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience working in a dental office is required
Experience using Dentrix is required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
