Lead Dental Assistant

Hero Practice Services is seeking a full-time Lead Dental Assistant in Alaska to support its mission of delivering dental, vision, and orthodontic care to underserved children. The lead will streamline patient flow, provide excellent chairside care, assist with protective stabilization cases, and help train and supervise clinical teammates to maintain high standards. Ideal candidates hold active EDDA/EFDA and radiology credentials, current BLS/CPR, experience with nitrous oxide and recording vitals, and familiarity with dental office systems (eClinicalWorks experience a plus). Compensation ranges from $46,000–$58,000 annually (approximately $23–$29/hr), with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and bonus opportunities. The role reports to the Assistant Operations Manager and includes supporting practice cleanliness, patient satisfaction monitoring, and other duties that advance the clinic’s mission.
