DENTAL HYGIENIST, CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

California Correctional Health Care Services is recruiting a Dental Hygienist to provide preventive dental care and oral health education to incarcerated patients at Solano State Prison in Vacaville, CA. This part-time (20 hours/week), 12-month limited term position offers a monthly salary range of $3,851 to $4,824. Under clinical supervision, the hygienist will perform routine prophylaxis, patient counseling on oral hygiene and nutrition, and adhere to facility security and dental program policies. Applicants must possess legal authorization to practice as a Dental Hygienist as determined by the Committee on Dental Auxiliaries and clear required background and medical screenings prior to appointment.
