Dental Hygiene Aide

The Dental Hygiene Aide position with the Gem State Public Health AmeriCorps program places a full-time member in Idaho to support oral health and mental health services at the ISU Dental Hygiene clinic. This hourly, paid AmeriCorps role involves assisting with patient intake, promoting resilience by modeling coping strategies, identifying needs for mental health referral, and helping expand access to quality oral healthcare across the community. The member will contribute to program improvements and monitor patient outcomes to maintain high standards of care. The term runs annually from September 1 to August 31 and includes an education award upon successful completion.
