Duties Coordinate patient appointments, treatment plans, and follow-up care to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfactionVerify insurance benefits, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance authorizations using Dentrix.Review and update medical records and dental charts accuratelyCommunicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, financial arrangements, and insurance coverage using excellent phone etiquetteEnsure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of patient information and reviewing documentation for accuracyUtilize computer skills to navigate multi-line phone systems, Microsoft Office applications, and dental practice management software efficientlySupport front desk operations by handling patient intake, scheduling appointmentsConduct insurance verification procedures, review documentation for accuracy, and assist with medical administrative support tasks as neededMaintain a welcoming office environment by providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitorsExperience Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting with a strong understanding of dental terminology and medical billing practicesFamiliarity with Dentrix is highly preferredExperience with insurance verification processesExcellent communication skills with the ability to provide outstanding patient service in a bilingual capacity is a plusDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining professionalism at all timesPrior clinic or medical office experience involving health information management or medical administrative support is desirableProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is essentialJoin us in delivering exceptional dental care while supporting our patients through compassionate service and efficient administrative processes.
