Dental Assistant

Southwest Maxillofacial Surgery in Atlanta, GA seeks a Dental Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced oral surgery practice. The role involves assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures, preparing and sterilizing treatment rooms and instruments, taking dental X-rays as directed, managing patient records and scheduling, and maintaining supply inventory. Candidates should educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care while ensuring comfort and safety throughout visits. This is a full-time position with hourly compensation. The ideal candidate is a skilled, compassionate team player with a high school diploma (completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred), CPR/BLS certification, and strong communication and organizational abilities.
