Dental Hygienist

Pettinato Dental Care in Dunmore, PA is seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist for a part-time position (Thursdays, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with pay from $32–$40 per hour. The hygienist will perform comprehensive examinations and cleanings, take x-rays as needed, administer fluoride, and provide patient education on brushing and flossing. Responsibilities also include preparing treatment areas, sterilizing instruments, updating records, and restocking supplies. Candidates must hold an accredited associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, a current state license with x-ray certification, and at least two years of professional experience. Strong communication skills, knowledge of aseptic/sterilization techniques, and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.
