Dental Assistant- North Lakeland

Coast Dental seeks a full-time Dental Assistant to support clinical and administrative operations at its North Lakeland practice in Killeen, TX. The hourly position requires assisting the dentist with procedures, maintaining infection-control and equipment protocols, performing radiography, and managing patient education, scheduling, and documentation. Candidates must have or obtain an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification or appropriate RDA/CDA credentials and radiography licensure upon hire or within 90 days. A minimum of one year of dental experience is preferred, and the role demands strong customer service, verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment. The assistant will also participate in office meetings, adhere to OSHA and HIPAA standards, and support practice inventory and emergency response procedures.
