Lead Dental Assistant

Foxtrot Dental in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Lead Dental Assistant for a full-time role supporting a small, patient-focused team. The lead assistant will serve as the dentist’s right hand, performing chairside duties including set up, sterilization, exposure of diagnostic x-rays, taking histories and vitals, recording treatment, and assisting with restorative, endodontic and surgical procedures. Additional responsibilities include fabricating temporary restorations and impressions, assisting with hygiene visits, providing postoperative instructions, managing inventory, completing back‑office tasks, and helping manage emergencies. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience with endodontic and surgical assisting and temporary crown fabrication, holds a post‑secondary dental assistant certificate plus coronal polishing, x‑ray, and BLS certifications, and is a collaborative team player. Compensation ranges from $24–$30 per hour for a Monday–Thursday schedule (7:40 AM–4:30 PM, one hour lunch).
