Dental Assistant

Newtown Smile Dentistry/Newtown Pediatric and Special Needs in Roxbury, CT is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support general, surgical, and implant procedures in a modern, collaborative practice. The role involves chairside assistance for restorative and surgical cases, implant support, digital impressions and radiographs, CEREC lab tasks, room preparation, instrument sterilization, charting, and patient communication. The position is typically 20–30 hours per week with the option to move to 40 hours and generally follows a 4- or 5-day workweek. Candidates should be dependable, organized, and team-oriented; at least one year of chairside experience is preferred and ICE and dental radiology certifications are a plus. Dentrix Ascend experience is desirable. Compensation is $25–$30/hour depending on experience.
