Full-Time Expanded Function Dental Assistant - Fort Wayne, IN 46804

We are seeking an experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to be an integral clinical partner in a busy practice focused on delivering same-day, comprehensive dental care. In this role you’ll support doctors who perform full-mouth and half-mouth dentistry during initial visits, including crowns and bridges, restorations, extractions, endodontics, implant restorations (where offered), and emergency cases. The environment is fast-paced and varied, with a focus on efficiency and keeping patients out of pain while minimizing their time away from work and family. Daily responsibilities include placing permanent restorations under EFDA scope, fabricating and adjusting temporaries, taking digital radiographs and CBCT scans, assisting with surgical, restorative, and endodontic procedures, maintaining sterilization and infection control, documenting care accurately, educating patients on treatment and post-op instructions, and helping to maintain smooth patient flow. Candidates should have EFDA experience, a current radiology license, familiarity with restorative/surgical/endodontic procedures, strong organization and multitasking abilities, excellent communication, and a team-oriented attitude.
