PART TIME Oral Surgery Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled surgical dental assistant to support oral surgery and implant procedures in a small, patient-focused practice. This role involves preparing and sterilizing instruments and treatment rooms, assisting the dentist with four-handed procedures, taking x-rays and 3D scans, performing lab tasks, managing inventory, and providing pre- and post-operative patient instructions. Candidates should have practical experience in oral surgery and implant dentistry, strong knowledge of instrument sterilization and safety protocols, good communication skills, attention to detail, and reliability. This part-time position follows a repeating two-week cycle: one week of full-time hours (Sunday–Thursday, approximately 40–45 hours) followed by a lighter week of one to two days (typically Monday and/or Tuesday). Applicants must have at least one year of dental assisting experience. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, and benefits include an employee discount and paid time off.
