Pediatric Dental Assistant
$21–$28 / hr
Full-TimeRole Overview
Join a fast-paced pediatric dental team as a full-time dental assistant working four days a week, supporting providers through a wide variety of child-focused procedures. You’ll be an active clinical partner responsible for efficient operatory flow, exceptional infection control, and helping create a comforting, enthusiastic experience for anxious or first-time young patients. The practice uses modern technology—laser and AI-enhanced imaging—so comfort with advanced tools is expected.
Daily responsibilities include four-handed dentistry, patient and parent education on prevention and home care, prepping and maintaining operatories to high sterilization standards, and collaborating closely with front-office staff to keep schedules on track. The ideal candidate holds an active Washington State dental assistant registration, has at least one year of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience preferred), strong clinical anticipation skills, and a team-player attitude focused on continuous improvement and excellent patient care.
Compensation and benefits were not specified in the posting, but the role emphasizes professional growth, supportive culture, and working with cutting-edge technology in a prevention-first pediatric practice.
