Traveling Periodontal Dental Assistant

Part-time traveling periodontal dental assistant position working three days per week, Wednesday–Friday, assisting periodontists at two general dentistry clinics in Denver and Thornton. Schedule is Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:45 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and Fridays 7:45 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, four-handed dental assisting for periodontal procedures, reviewing and updating health histories, sterilizing instruments per OSHA, selecting and setting up instruments/equipment/supplies, and providing post-operative care instructions. Candidates should be a certified dental assistant or have prior specialty experience; X-ray certification and active CPR or BLS certification are required. Two or more years of perio, endo, or oral surgery assisting experience is preferred, though recent graduates and assistants from other areas may be considered. Compensation is $23–$26 per hour with monthly performance-based bonus opportunities; vision insurance and 401(k) matching are offered for part-time employees. Mileage reimbursement is available when locations are outside a 20-mile radius. Applications accepted until July 31, 2026, or until the role is filled.
