Dental Assistant

Orthodontic practice seeking a part-time orthodontic dental assistant to work every other Monday, plus Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. The role includes seating patients, taking orthodontic records (impressions, scans, photos, and x-rays), removing and replacing wires, fitting bands, expanders, and habit breakers, preparing for braces on/off appointments, providing hygiene instruction, sterilization, breaking down and setting up operatories, maintaining treatment areas, stocking and inventory, updating parents, and assisting the dentist with patients. Prior orthodontic assisting experience is preferred but not required. X-ray certification is preferred. Position is in person, daytime 8-hour shifts, located in Stow, MA.
