Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA)

Seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to provide chairside four-handed assistance during examinations and procedures, prepare and maintain treatment areas, take dental X-rays, and use Dentrix for patient record management. The role includes conducting vital signs assessments, maintaining infection control and aseptic techniques, educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, and assisting across specialties such as prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatrics. Use of 3D scanners and other medical imaging technologies is also required. Candidates should have knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding, and be proficient in X-ray imaging and infection control standards. Previous clinical dental assistant experience and familiarity with Dentrix are preferred. The position is day-shift, in-person, based in Somerset, KY, requires relocation before starting if not local, and offers dental and health insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, employee discounts, and opportunities for advancement.
