The role involves chairside assistance for procedures including composites and major restorative work, taking and processing X-rays, sterilization tasks, and coordinating patient care. Dentrix Ascend is used for charting, scheduling, and clinical notes. Candidates should have Maryland X-ray certification (or be in process), and dental assisting certification and at least one year of assisting experience are preferred. The position follows a part-time-friendly schedule on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with pay between $18 and $24 per hour based on experience. Paid personal time and 401(k) contributions with employer match begin after 90 days.
