Experienced Dental Assistant

Seeking an experienced dental assistant to join a busy, patient-focused general dental practice. The role involves chairside four-handed assisting, setting up and breaking down treatment rooms, taking digital X-rays and 3D scans, assisting with restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, extractions, root canals, dentures, implants, emergency procedures, and other general dentistry. Responsibilities also include sterilizing instruments, maintaining infection-control protocols, reviewing medical histories and obtaining vitals when appropriate, educating patients on procedures and post-op instructions, maintaining clinical documentation in Dentrix, and keeping operatories and supplies organized and stocked. The practice offers a consistent schedule (Monday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM and Thursday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM), all federal holidays off, a monthly team bonus system, opportunity to expand clinical skills, and a supportive, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate has prior dental assisting experience, is comfortable in a busy practice, knowledgeable about infection control and digital X-rays, organized, punctual, a team player, able to learn or use Dentrix, and able to communicate effectively with doctors, coworkers, and patients.
