Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

This role supports clinical dental operations by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and chairs, setting up instrument trays, and preparing materials. Responsibilities include taking and developing dental X-rays, creating dental impressions for study casts, collecting and discussing patient medical history, providing post-treatment and oral hygiene instructions, maintaining supply and equipment inventory, and participating in clinical area cleaning on a rotating schedule. Additional tasks are assigned by management. Minimum requirements include certification or an associate degree from an accredited dental assisting program, dental X-ray certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with Windows-based data entry, and professional written and verbal communication skills. The position emphasizes patient-focused care, particularly creating a welcoming environment for pediatric patients. Pay is listed as $20.00–$25.00 per hour.
