Dental Assistant (Monday thru Thursday; Colchester, VT)

Seeking a certified dental assistant to support dentists in clinical care, including assisting during procedures, maintaining treatment room cleanliness and sterilization per OSHA, handling and securing patient records in compliance with HIPAA and state/federal rules, and tracking dental lab cases and referrals. The role also involves patient intake tasks, keeping treatment rooms stocked, performing expanded functions as assigned, and helping with office tasks such as answering phones, unpacking supplies, and completing insurance forms. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited dental assisting program, hold state certification and meet applicable state requirements (including x-ray and OSHA training), and have strong computer skills; knowledge of Eaglesoft and/or Dentrix is a plus. The practice describes a collaborative environment with state-of-the-art equipment and treats a diverse patient base ranging from implant to cosmetic and reconstructive cases.
