Certified Dental Assistant for a Private Practice

Seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join a growing dental practice. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, discussing care plans, taking vital signs and medical histories, preparing sterilized equipment, assisting the dentist during exams and procedures, adhering to health and safety regulations and office policies, scheduling appointments, and maintaining equipment and supplies. Required qualifications include an Associate’s Degree from a CODA-certified school and current CDA or RDA licensure by the DANB. The role requires strong computer and data entry skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities, and previous dental assistant experience. The office hours are Monday–Friday with eight-hour days Monday–Thursday and five hours on Friday. Full-time employees become eligible after 90 days for benefits including uniforms, paid time off, personal time, bonuses, a 401(k) employer match, and paid vacation. The practice uses Open Dental, digital radiography, intraoral cameras, and operates paperless/chartless.
