Private orthodontic practice seeks a dental assistant for an in-person, part-time role starting at three days per week with opportunity for additional days. The practice values professionalism, friendliness, and dependability in employees.
Clinical responsibilities listed include greeting and seating patients, sterilizing instruments and disinfecting operatories, intraoral scanning, taking x-rays and photographs, tying and untying archwires, chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry, and educating patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure instructions. Orthodontic or dental office experience is preferred but not required; the practice will provide training for the right candidate. Dental assisting training is preferred.
