Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–5:00 PM. Seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to provide chairside support, maintain a clean clinical environment, and help ensure smooth daily operations and positive patient experiences.
Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms and assisting the dentist during procedures (fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals), handing instruments, ensuring patient comfort, greeting and preparing patients, reviewing medical histories, providing post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education, sterilizing and disinfecting instruments per OSHA and CDC guidelines, organizing supplies, and maintaining operatory readiness. Additional duties as needed include scheduling and confirming appointments, assisting with billing/insurance or charting, and keeping accurate treatment documentation.
Preferred qualifications list Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), X-ray certification (required/preferred depending on state), knowledge of patient management software, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach. Physical requirement: ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
