Small, established, family-oriented private dental practice seeks a Registered Dental Hygienist for a patient-focused environment with a small, supportive team and an established, loyal patient base. The position currently includes Mondays and Wednesdays, with the possibility of additional days in the future. The practice participates with only two PPO insurance plans and does not accept HMO or Medicaid. Clinical responsibilities listed include adult and pediatric prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, digital X-rays as needed, periodontal charting, patient education and home-care recommendations, reviewing medical histories and documenting clinical findings, and collaborating closely with the dentist and team to ensure continuity of care. The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist who is friendly, professional, dependable, compassionate, gentle yet thorough, and comfortable educating and communicating with patients.
