Registered Dental Assistant

Privately owned general dentistry practice seeking a Dental Assistant – Expanded Functions. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch. Position is full-time and in person near County Road 210 in the St. Johns/St. Augustine area. Duties include assisting the dentist during restorative procedures, setting up and breaking down operatories, taking dental X-rays, sterilization and infection control, packing cord and assisting with crowns, digital scanning for crowns and nightguards, taking impressions, assisting with expanded functions per Florida guidelines, presenting treatment plans and obtaining consent, reviewing post-treatment instructions, completing patient walk-outs and scheduling follow-ups, maintaining organized operatories, and assisting with front-office duties as needed. Practice uses Eaglesoft and offers employee dental benefits/discounts, paid time off and holidays, 401(k) match, and a uniform allowance. Pay listed as $19.00–$25.00 per hour. New graduates and experienced assistants are welcome; one year of dental assisting experience is listed as required.
