This position supports dentists during a range of dental procedures by preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, readying equipment, handing instruments, and anticipating needs. Responsibilities include taking and processing X-rays, performing lab tasks as directed, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, assisting with payment procedures, advising on oral hygiene and post-operative care, and handling general administrative duties.
Qualifications note 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, high moral standards, self-motivation, and a driven personality. The role is non-exempt, offers a guaranteed hourly rate of $20–$24, paid vacation and holidays, a 401(k) with matching contributions, and benefits (health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance) for employees working 30 hours or more; flexible schedules are mentioned.
