Train into the role of Dental Assistant with on-the-job education provided, or apply if you already have dental experience. The practice seeks someone who will build long-term relationships with patients and coworkers and contribute to a team-focused, patient-centered workplace.
After comprehensive training, responsibilities include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing and organizing instruments and equipment, taking medical histories, taking dental X-rays and assisting with imaging, sterilizing instruments, maintaining patient records, providing post-operative care instructions, performing lab tasks (pouring and trimming molds, bleaching trays, implant temporization, lab cases), and helping with scheduling, patient flow, and office maintenance while collaborating with the clinical team. The office is a small, close-knit group consisting of two doctors, three administrative staff, two assistants, and three hygienists.
