Seeking a dental assistant to join a small private cosmetic and TMJ holistic practice alongside an existing long-term dental assistant. The role involves assisting the dentist with procedures (including four-handed dentistry), preparing operatories, selecting and sterilizing instruments, performing lab tasks, providing oral hygiene and post-operative instructions, maintaining clean and well-stocked treatment rooms, and keeping detailed patient records.
Candidates should have proven dental assistant experience, knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods, computer skills, strong communication and people skills, attention to detail, and reliability. A high school diploma is required; graduation from dental assistant school is preferred. At least four years’ experience in a general dental office is required. Regulated non-surgical task ability (e.g., coronal polishing) and additional certification or training (e.g., EFDA) are listed as assets. Job types available: part-time and full-time.
