The practice is seeking a receptionist who greets patients and guests in person and on the phone, helps get patients into the office, and supports a consistent, hospitable patient experience. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, checking patients in, obtaining consents, notifying the back office of arrivals, confirming appointments at least two days in advance, answering phones, posting payments, maintaining accurate account information, returning messages from the Contact Center, participating in team meetings, and performing other assigned duties.
Preferred qualifications and skills include previous front desk or administrative experience, knowledge of office practices, technology applications and patient insurances, strong interpersonal and communication skills, reliability, ability to work independently and on a team, time-management and organizational abilities, and proficiency with computers. The receptionist must maintain a professional appearance and ensure compliance with company, state, and federal policies.
