General Dentist at a Modern Private Practice

Private dental practice seeking a second associate dentist. The office was built in 2021 and has modern equipment including an intraoral scanner, CBCT, surgical piezo, and implant motor. The practice mission focuses on helping people be healthy, eat the foods they want, and smile with confidence, and its core values are compassion, collaboration, and growth. One dentist owner is willing to mentor; one current dentist will be out for most of the fall and that would be an ideal start time. The practice is located in Northampton, MA. Full time candidates preferred, part time considered. Relocation assistance is available for dentists coming from farther away. New dentists have an introductory period with a $1,000 daily minimum; after that compensation is 35% adjusted production minus labs and implant parts. Associate dentists can join the practice health insurance plan and receive at least $2,000 annually for ADA-approved continuing education, with possible additional reimbursement for training in procedures beneficial to the practice such as endo and ortho. Associates are treated at cost for procedures performed in the office. The practice is in-network with two PPO plans but may drop them in the future, does not accept MassHealth, and partnership is not guaranteed though the owner is open to sweat equity. The current dentists do not perform molar endodontics, rarely provide aligners, and prefer not to do pediatric dentistry or dentures, so those services could be taken on by an interested associate. The practice prioritizes creating a comfortable, respectful environment for queer patients and supports patients with dental anxiety.
