Licensed Dental Assistant - St. Paul

Seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to work in pediatric dentistry at the St. Paul location. The role includes chairside assistance during exams and procedures, preparing treatment areas, sterilizing instruments, taking dental X-rays, and performing expanded functions allowed by Minnesota law such as impressions, sealants, coronal polishing, and fluoride applications. Responsibilities also include patient and parent education on oral hygiene and preventive care, managing patient flow and transitions, documenting patient information in the electronic health record while maintaining confidentiality, supporting behavior management for anxious or uncooperative children, and collaborating with dentists, hygienists, office staff, and parents. The position is in a fast-paced pediatric specialty practice that has multiple Twin Cities locations and is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
