Seeking an experienced dental assistant (DA I or DA II) to support dental care under general supervision of a dentist, performing a range of clinical and patient-care duties. Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during treatments, taking and developing radiographs, performing routine dental cleanings and coronal polishing, monitoring nitrous oxide, completing treatment consents and clinical notes, stocking and maintaining supplies, sterilizing and delivering instruments, and maintaining unit care and OSHA-required cleaning and safety tasks.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a dental assistant program per state guidelines, dental x-ray certification, and coronal polishing certification. Nitrous certification is desired but not required. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and people skills, effective interaction with diverse populations, and an understanding of health and safety regulations.
