Seeking a Dental Assistant to provide chairside support during examinations and procedures, assist with four-handed dentistry, and prepare and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols. The role includes taking and developing dental X-rays, monitoring vital signs, assisting with medical imaging, and operating dental technology such as 3D scanners. Candidates will use EMR systems like Open Dental for patient management and scheduling, maintain medical records in line with HIPAA, and handle ordering of clinical supplies.
The position involves patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care, supporting pediatric dentistry to create a welcoming environment for young patients, and collaborating with the dental receptionist to maintain smooth patient flow. Required skills include familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy, aseptic techniques, infection control, and experience with various dental specialties and medical documentation.
