Certified Dental Assistant role supporting clinical operations in a busy dental practice. Responsibilities include assisting dentists across general and specialty procedures, preparing treatment rooms and instruments following sterilization and infection prevention protocols, taking dental X-rays and 3D scans, managing patient records in EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, providing chairside four-handed assistance, educating patients on oral care and post-treatment instructions, and recording vital signs and medical history.
Position requires valid dental assistant certification with current state licensure or registration, experience in general or specialty dental practices, proficiency with EMR systems, knowledge of dental and medical terminology and anatomy, hands-on experience with X-ray procedures and aseptic techniques, and strong communication skills.
