Registered Dental Assistant or EFDA

Seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support dentists in general and occasional pediatric dentistry, including oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics. The role includes chairside assistance, four-handed dentistry, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and monitoring vital signs as needed. The position requires a valid RDA or EFDA certification with a radiology endorsement and experience in a dental clinic. Responsibilities include taking and developing dental X-rays with 3D scanners or digital radiography, managing patient records in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, assisting with administrative tasks like check-in/out and appointment coordination, and educating patients on oral health and post-treatment care while maintaining HIPAA and infection prevention protocols.
