Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Seeking an Expanded Function Dental Assistant for a periodontal and dental implant specialty practice to assist with periodontal, implant, regenerative, and oral surgical procedures. The role requires EFDA certification recognized by Maryland, Maryland dental radiology certification, CPR/BLS certification, and at least one year of periodontal assisting experience; two years of general dental assisting experience is preferred. Familiarity with surgical instrumentation, aseptic technique, implant components, bone-grafting materials, Dentrix, digital radiography, CBCT, and intraoral scanning is listed as desirable or a plus. Position is Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with full-time or part-time options and in-person work in Waldorf, Maryland. Pay range is $29.00–$32.00 per hour; compensation is described as competitive and based on experience, credentials, and surgical-assisting skills.
